<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a condition in outputting to electronic paper by utilizing a UI which is utilized in outputting to a printing medium. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a user interface section which receives an item setting from a user by displaying on a display section a screen which is common for output to a display device and output to a printing medium and in which items for setting a printing condition are described; a storage section which stores corresponding information, for an item that cannot be executed in output to the display device among the items for setting the printing condition, making setting contents of the item correspond to meaning corresponding to the display device; and a control section in which, when output to the printing medium is instructed, printing is executed in accordance with the setting contents of the item and when output to the display device is instructed, on the basis of the corresponding information stored in the storage section, the setting contents of a predetermined item that the display device cannot execute are interpreted into the meaning according to the display device, thereby instructing output to the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
