<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that prevents the occurrence of white streaks on a print image resulting from adherence of foreign substances to a contact portion of a developing blade and a developing roller after continuous printing for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device and an image forming apparatus are formed of a component having a relationship between Asker F hardness [°] of a feed roller 14 and a radius of curvature of a developing blade 15, which is a combination: 0.17[mm]≤R[mm]≤0.28[mm]181.82[°]×R[mm]+9.09[°]≤F[°]≤-250[°]×R[mm]+130[°].
