<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door closer that enables the use of a standard type sash roller and that can also be used for a normal sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: A sliding door closer includes a spiral spring and a damper mechanism that applies a damper force to a sliding door via a wire. The sliding door closer makes the sliding door self-closed by a spring force of the spiral spring. One or more pulleys for offsetting or changing a wire pulling direction are attached to a surface orthogonal to a surface for attaching a spiral spring pulley housing the spiral spring and a damper pulley housing the damper mechanism, near a wire pull-out portion of the sliding door body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
