<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of controlling the steerability and improving the steering feeling while ensuring the traveling stability of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A camber angle-adjusting device 44 is operated by a camber angle adjusting means, and the camber angle of each rear wheel is adjusted to impart the negative camber to the rear wheels. By imparting the negative camber, the traveling stability of a vehicle can be ensured by using the camber thrust generated in the rear wheels. Further, when the negative camber is imparted to the rear wheels by the camber angle adjusting means, the equivalent cornering forces of front wheels are changed by a cornering force changing means. By changing the equivalent cornering forces of the front wheels, the steering capacity which is an index of the vehicle steerability can be changed, and thus, the vehicle steerability can be controlled thereby.
