<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inhibition of adequate fastening of a mounting component on a cast by a weld flash without requiring removing work of the weld flash formed on an end surface of a cap nut body by dividing a detached part from the cap nut body part. <P>SOLUTION: The insert cap nut-forming member 1 has a structure in which the detached part 20 is integrally connected to the end surface 12 of the cap nut body 10. A tapered surface 23a, which reduces an outer diameter of the detached part 20 as getting close to the end surface 12 of the cap nut body 10, is formed on an outer circumference surface of the detached part 20. The end surface 12 of the cap nut body 10 includes: a flat surface part 12a; and an annular recessed part 12b formed so as to surround an outer circumference of the end part on the cap nut body 10 side of the detached part 20 on an inner side of the flat surface part 12a.
