The parking lock (1) has a lock pawl (3) with pawl tooth (31) to engage with locking tooth, and an actuator unit (5) that is mechanically coupled with the lock pawl by reversibly engaging pawl tooth with locking tooth. The actuator unit is translationally displaced by an actuator. A spring element (6) is provided in through hole or blind hole, to prestress a portion of the actuator unit, so that the actuator unit is displaced along the traveling direction. An independent claim is included for gear box.
