<p>A secondary battery (1) has a positive electrode (3) and a negative electrode (5) with a separator (4) disposed therebetween. The separator (4) has a first separator layer (21) formed by stretching a polyolefin resin containing inorganic filler, and a second separator layer (22) formed by laminating an inorganic filler onto the first separator layer (21). With this configuration, cost increase and reduction of per-cell capacity and output caused by thermal contraction of the separator (4) are suppressed and short circuiting and capacity reduction caused by foreign metal bodies are suppressed, resulting in a low-cost, high-capacity, and high-output secondary battery.</p> |
