The present invention addresses the problem of providing an information conveyance device for use in a vehicle, said device being capable of eliminating the annoyance of light being too bright. In this embodiment, a plurality of light sources (10a) in a light-source panel (10) are arrayed in a plurality of rows or a plurality of columns so as to be able to shine light in a horizontal direction (left/right) and a vertical direction (height, up/down). The following are disposed in the light-source panel (10): a diffusion panel (10b) and a pivot member (10c) for adjusting the transmission (diffusion) of the light from all or some of the light sources (10a) by position thereof; and a plurality of springs (10d) that act as fail-safes to maintain the separation between the light sources (10a) and the diffusion panel (10b) at a maximum when a malfunction occurs.
