PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to inhale gas existing inside a cylinder bore and sends the inhaled gas to the inside an opposite cylinder bore by forming a bypass path and a bypass hole on the rotary shaft of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises front and rear housings(10,20), front and rear cylinder blocks(30,30'), a rotary shaft(40), a hub(44), a swash plate(42), multiple pistons(50), a bearing, a bypass path(100), and a bypass hole(110). The front and rear cylinder blocks are located between the front and rear housings. The rotary shaft penetrates through the front and rear cylinder blocks. The hub is rotated by the rotary shaft. The swash plate is installed on the center of the hub to be inclined to the longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft. The pistons are linearly reciprocated inside a cylinder bore(34) when the swash plate is rotated. The bypass path is formed inside the rotary shaft in an axial direction. The bypass hole is formed from both ends of the bypass path to the outside the rotary shaft.
