<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle exterior garnish with a smart design appearance with its lighting part or the like made unconscious at non-lighting in the daytime or the like while being equipped with an illumination lighting part which can enhance its added value and individuality at lighting at night or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A long-size vehicle exterior garnish 1 forming a design face for decoration on an external surface of a vehicle body is provided with a reflector 3, a light guide plate 5 arranged at a rear side of the reflector 3 so as to align along a row of a plurality of light leaking parts 3h formed at the reflector 3, and a light source 6 making light incident from one of the ends 5A of the light guide plate.
