METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR USER-DEFINED SYSTEM-ENFORCED SESSION TERMINATION IN UNIFIED TELEPHONY ENVIRONMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for session termination in a unified telephony environment.

SOLUTION: A real-time communication session is forcibly terminated by a user-defined termination enforcement handler. A termination condition defines a limit of an operational variable for a unified telephony system or the real-time communication session. Evaluation by collation with an identified termination condition is performed and when the termination condition is met, it is determined which participant is disconnected from the real-time communication session according to handling rules for the termination condition or/and termination priority level associated with the real-time communication session. The termination priority level is defined by an initiating entity of the real-time communication session. The participant is notified that a connection of the participant with the real-time communication session terminates at predetermined limit time. At the predetermined limit time, the connection of the participant with the real-time communication session automatically terminates.
