<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device that can effectively reduce transmission of impact shock to a spring upper part material and also is economical. <P>SOLUTION: The suspension device 1 includes: a shock absorber 2 which is interposed between a spring upper part material and a spring lower part material in the vehicle and demonstrates the damping force to suppress relative movement of the spring upper part material and the spring lower part material; a damping force adjusting mechanism 3 which can adjust the damping force in the shock absorber 2; and a control device 4 which controls the damping force adjusting mechanism 3. The control device 4 makes the contraction side damping force of the shock absorber 2 into minimum, if a change amount of a contraction speed becomes more than a predetermined speed change amount threshold β, while the contraction speed of the shock absorber 2 becomes more than a predetermined speed threshold α. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
