PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict damage to a separator by an electrode lead which is incurred when an electrode lead connecting part is subjected to a large pressure due to a charging/discharging-induced electrode expansion.
SOLUTION: When a cathode and an anode are laminated via a separator, one end on the electrode connection side of at least one of a cathode lead and an anode lead which is more likely to be subjected to pressure by an electrode expansion than the other is adjusted to be at a position opposed to only one of the cathode and the anode or opposed to neither of the cathode and the anode before the electrode leads and the electrodes are connected. It is preferable that one end on the electrode connection side of the electrode lead is located at least at the same position as an end part of the separator or a position on the inner side than the end part of the separator. The electrode leads should preferably have edges at ends of their electrode connection parts chamfered. As for chamfering, it is preferable that at least one of C chamfering (chamfer plane) and R chamfering (round chamfer) is carried out. Furthermore, the main surface shape at ends on the electrode connection side of the electrode leads may be round shaped or obtuse angle shaped.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
