<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the deterioration state of a developer to be determined for maintaining high image quality. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: toner concentration detection means 175 for detecting toner concentration in developing means 17; image concentration detection means 103 for detecting concentration of a toner image for image concentration detection formed by image formation means 13; control means 100 for controlling image formation conditions so as to obtain image concentration predetermined by the image formation means 13 based on detection results of the toner concentration detection means and detection results of the image concentration detection means; and recovery means for performing a recovery operation to recover image quality of an image formed by the image formation means 13 if a state in which toner concentration in the developing means 17 detected by the toner concentration detection means 175 exceeds predetermined concentration and the image formation conditions controlled by the control means 100 exceed predetermined image formation conditions, exceeds predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
