<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt in which steel cord is adhered to crosslinked rubber that forms a belt body with high adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: The invention is a method for manufacturing a conveyor belt in which the galvanized steel cord is buried in an uncrosslinked rubber composition for forming the belt body to crosslink the uncrosslinked rubber composition in order to manufacture the conveyor belt in which the belt body is formed of crosslinked rubber, and the galvanized steel cord is buried in the belt body as a core, which is characterized by the fact that the process is conducted in which the steel cord is cleaned with an alkaline liquid before it is buried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
