<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drawing quality from deteriorating without missing information even if a plurality of strokes come close. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for drawing an image on a thermal medium includes: a unit for detecting an overlapped part in the plurality of strokes forming a character to be drawn to remove the overlapped part; a unit for attaching, to individual strokes or stroke groups in which continuous strokes are grouped, information that dissipation may occur due to the removal of the overlapped part; and a unit for excluding the strokes or the stroke groups to which the information is attached, from an object to be removed due to the removal of the overlapped part when performing the removal of the overlapped part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
