<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-sheath type polyester conjugate fiber and a polyester fabric having high durability, an antibacterial property and a deodorant property. <P>SOLUTION: A core-sheath type polyester conjugate fiber having antibacterial and deodorant properties comprises a core part of polyester A and a sheath part of polyester B. A specific compound is copolymerized on the basis of the total acid components of the polyester B; TgA and TgB satisfy a relationship of TgA≥TgB-3°C; the fiber has single fiber fineness of 5.0 dtex or less and strength of 1.0 cN/dtex or more; a ratio between an area SA of the core part and an area SB of the sheath part is in a range from 95:5 to 50:50; the fiber is acidified after being formed into the form of fiber; mpA and mpB satisfy a relationship of mpA≥mpB; and ηA≥1.1ηB. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
