<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, even if a joint part 8b of an exhaust assist device 3 and an exhaust pipe 4 are separated with a relatively inexpensive countermeasure, the either part from trailing down and interfering on a road surface, in an exhaust apparatus that includes exhaust pipes 2, 4 attached to an engine 1, and the exhaust assist device 3 provided in the midway of the exhaust pipes 2, 4 and suspended from a vehicle body 10, and where either an upstream side or a downstream side in an exhaust flow direction of the exhaust assist device 3 is jointed to the exhaust pipes 2, 4 by welding. <P>SOLUTION: A falling prevention part 15 that hangs either side of the joint when a joint 8b of the auxiliary exhaust device 3 and the exhaust pipes 2, 4 separates, is provided on at least one of the auxiliary exhaust device 3 and the exhaust pipes 2, 4 to which the auxiliary exhaust device 3 is jointed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
