<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a subject image from a frame image even in the case of a moving subject. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device 100 comprises: a representative image generation unit 5c that, from among subject images respectively detected by a subject detection unit 5b, integrates data on subject images as many as a predetermined number of frames, thereby generating representative image data representing the subject images as many as the predetermined number of frames; a variation degree calculation unit 5e that calculates a variation degree of data on one subject image used in generation of the representative image data with respect to the representative image data; and a number-of-frame control unit 5g that, based on the calculated variation degree, controls the number of frames of data on subject images to be used in generation of the representative image data by the representative image generation unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
