<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercapacitor with high capacitance, high electric conductivity, and lower internal resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A supercapacitor according to the present invention includes two or more active material layers on an electrode current collector, and has an electrode with a multilayer structure in which the two or more active material layers are stacked. According to this embodiment, the electrode in which the two or more active material layers are stacked to form the multilayer structure is fabricated by using as the electrode active material layer, the two or more layers including an active carbon layer with a large specific surface area and a graphene layer with high electric conductivity that can reduce the internal resistance; then, this is contained in the supercapacitor. As a result, the supercapacitor has higher capacitance due to the large specific surface area of the active carbon and has lower internal resistance due to the excellent electric conductivity of graphene, and therefore, the capacitance and electric conductivity are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
