<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method and a recovering device capable of efficiently recovering TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>from blast furnace slag. <P>SOLUTION: The blast furnace slag discharged from iron ore in a blast furnace for iron manufacture is heated to a temperature lower than a melting point of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>as it is discharged without any cooling treatment, a material of which melting point is lower than that of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is separated and removed from the blast furnace slag, the blast furnace slag from which the material has been removed is heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and lower than the melting point (for example, the melting point of Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>) of a material of which melting point is higher than that of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is separated from the blast furnace slag and recovered while it is in a form of an oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
