<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing an existing pile, which reduces a construction cost and a construction period and which enables construction work to be performed in a small space, and excavating equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A method for reinforcing an existing pile comprises: a step of integrally connecting excavating equipment and a reinforcement steel pipe together; a step of burying the reinforcement steel pipe in the ground while excavating the ground on an outer periphery of a pile head portion of the existing pile by excavating equipment; a step of disconnecting the excavating equipment and the reinforcement steel pipe from each other, leaving the reinforcement steel pipe in the ground, and pulling out the excavating equipment from the ground; and a step of infilling a filler into a space between the reinforcement steel pipe and the pile head portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
