<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hat type molded article having high durability against an impact load (high resistance against bending deformation) applied to a ceiling part. <P>SOLUTION: The hat type molded article 3 integrally includes: a pair of vertical walls 4 opposing each other with a space therebetween; the ceiling part 5 bridged between one end edges of the vertical walls 4; and flange parts 6 extending from the one end edges and the other end edges on the opposite sides of the vertical walls 4 outward in the opposing direction of the pair of vertical walls 4. At a middle part of each vertical wall 4, a stepped face 7 that is parallel with the surface of the ceiling part 5 and the surface of the flange part 6 is formed by bending each vertical wall 4 in a crank shape. The hat type molded article 3 is designed so that a width c of the stepped face 7 satisfies the relation of 0.1t√(E/σy)≤c≤10 (E: Young's modulus, σy: yield strength of a steel sheet), and a difference e in height between the surface of the ceiling part 5 and the stepped face 7 satisfies the relation of 1/5<e/H<4/10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
