<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella that makes full use of a limited area of the umbrella. <P>SOLUTION: With a purpose of arranging the user in the center of the umbrella, the tube 1 in the center of the umbrella is shifted to a position unobstructive to the user arranged in the center. In this connection, in order not to interfere with the function of opening/closing of the umbrella, the length of the ribs 2 are modified, with the stretchers 3, the top notch 9 and the runner 9 intact. Since the shorter ribs and the longer ribs are going to be different in curvature, adjustment is made so that the umbrella can be held in shape by modifying reinforcement ribs 4 or using a material or thickness for the respective ribs 2. The longer ribs are made roughly as long as covering a crook handle when the umbrella is closed, while the crook handle is made to face in the tip end in the direction of the shorter ribs and fixed to the tube 1 that is shifted from the center of the umbrella. Thus, with the umbrella furled with a strap, it can be used in the same way as an ordinary umbrella in walking with it or hanging by hooking with the crook handle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
