METHOD FOR FORMING GENE TRANSFERRED PLANT BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently redifferentiate a transformed plant body.

SOLUTION: The method for forming a gene transferred plant body includes: transferring an agrobacterium into a tissue of a leaf blade by returning the leaf blade of a leaf having a leafstalk such as Jatropha curcas in a state having the leafstalk, and immersing with a fungus liquid of the agrobacterium from the state of more decompressed state than atmospheric pressure to pressure of the atmospheric pressure; then contacting an antibiotic and the agrobacterium in the tissue of the leaf blade by immersing the leaf blade into an aqueous solution of the antibiotic; and then contacting the leaf blade with a bactericide other than the antibiotic such as a hypochlorous acid. After that, callus induction is performed on a culture medium including the antibiotic using a part of the leaf blade into which the agrobacterium is transferred as a tissue fragment.
