<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical substance detector, which can be miniaturized, has comparatively simple structure, can efficiently and highly accurately determine the quantity of multi-component chemical substances in sample gas, and a chemical substance detector for disease diagnosis which can efficiently and highly accurately determine the quantity of a plurality of disease marker substances in expiration and thus, can exactly diagnose a disease which a subject has. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a chemical substance detector which includes: a chamber with a gas introduction port and a gas discharge port; a gas introduction path for introducing sample gas in the chamber, which is connected to the gas introduction port; a gas discharge path for discharging the sample gas from the chamber, which is connected to the gas discharge port; one or more sensor arrays arranged in the chamber and constituted by arranging sensor elements for detecting chemical substances on a substrate; signal receiving means for receiving signals from the sensor elements; and a reference sensor which detects a physical state of the sample gas, and the sensor arrays arranged in the chamber are equipped with two or more sensor elements in total. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
