<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization and improve efficiency in a multi-stage compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-stage compressor (20) includes: a low-stage compressor (30) and a high-stage compressor (40) connected in series with each other and connected to a refrigerant circuit (1); a connection pipe (50) connecting a discharge tube (35) of the low-stage compressor (30) with a suction pipe (44) of the high-stage compressor (40); and an injection pipe (51) for introducing the refrigerant at an intermediate pressure of the refrigerant circuit (1) into the refrigerant discharged from a compression mechanism (33) of the low-stage compressor (30). In a casing (31) of the low-stage compressor (30), a low-stage discharge pressure space is constituted, in which the refrigerant discharged from the compression mechanism (33) of the low-stage compressor (30) is filled. The injection pipe (51) is connected to the casing (31) of the low-stage compressor (30) so that the intermediate pressure refrigerant of the refrigerant circuit (1) is introduced into the casing (31). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
