An off-shore wind turbine having a wave run-up deflector is described. The deflector extends all around the circumference of the lower end of the wind turbine tower, and acts to prevent wave run-up advancing vertically along the tower surface and damaging wind turbine components. A number of different deflector designs are presented. |
