LOW-TEMPERATURE HYDROPHOBIC SURFACE COATING FOR INSULATOR

摘要

A low-temperature hydrophobic surface coating for insulator comprises silicon rubber and carbon black, wherein the content of the carbon black is 10-30% by mass. Added with the carbon black filler having a positive temperature coefficient, the surface coating can maintain the hydrophobic property under the cold weather of ice rain. The coating has good heat generation property upon being applied to the insulator, thus reducing the risk of supercooled water drops being attached to and frozen on the surface of the insulator and contributing to the safe operation of insulator.
