<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it may be unable to print immediately by a shortage of toner or ink on a printer side when a print color of two-color printing is selected according to a document to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver acquires information on remaining toner or ink from a printer at print processing, selects a printable color from the information, and generates a printer control command for second color of two-color printing.
