PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable creation and display of stereoscopic video content based on an appropriate parallax amount by simplifying adjustment of the parallax amount of the stereoscopic video content when creating and viewing the stereoscopic video content.

SOLUTION: In the present invention, an adjusted parallax amount or the ratio (parallax amount ratio) of a parallax amount before adjustment and the adjusted parallax amount is set, and right-eye and left-eye videos whose parallax amount is adjusted (adjusted stereoscopic video) is generated based on the set parallax amount or the set parallax amount ratio from input right-eye and left-eye videos (input stereoscopic video). At this time, by creating an intermediate video at an intermediate viewpoint between a right-eye viewpoint and a left-eye viewpoint based on a parallax amount designated by a user, simple adjustment of the parallax amount of stereoscopic video content by the user is enabled.
