<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system for determining a path route having no bottleneck caused and with small calculation amount in a packet transport network. <P>SOLUTION: A network system comprises a plurality of data transfer devices and a management computer. Each of the data transfer devices comprises a plurality of communication interfaces. The management computer retains type information of each of the communication interfaces, conversion information mapping a type of a path, band usage amount of the path, a type of the communication interface, and a bandwidth assigned to the path, and remaining band information of each of the communication interfaces; selects one of a plurality of bandwidths included in the conversion information; determines whether each of the communication interfaces is available or not based on the remaining band information and the selected bandwidth; specifies a route candidate which does not go through the unavailable communication interface; determines whether the communication interface the route candidate goes through is conductible or not based on the IF type information, the conversion information, and the remaining band information; and assigns the conductible route candidate to a new path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
