<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material being effective for a heat generation and heat storage material for electromagnetic induction generating heat by electromagnetic induction and storing the heat, and having advantages of improving a heat generation action, making a heat storage action better, saving a power because a power supply of a heating device can be turned off arbitrarily, spreading the heat generated from a heating material in a cube container evenly in the container, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A heat generation and heat storage material for electromagnetic induction generates heat by electromagnetic induction, and stores the heat. The heat generation and heat storage material contains silicon dioxide, titanium oxide and/or elemental silicon.
