摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional transmitting and receiving device in which: it is difficult to realize H/W due to the need of amplitude control for forming a transmitting beam; and multiple transmissions have to be repeated for convergence; and a MIMO radar provides a relatively low transmitting gain to decrease in beam formation accuracy, and requires a great deal of integration processing in detection to result in a huge computation amount. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting and receiving device comprises transmitters, separating means, receiving load calculating means, transmitting load calculating means, transmitting beam combining means, and receiving beam combining beam. The transmitters transmit signals each having a waveform different for each antenna, from a plurality of antennas. The separating means separates the received signals from a target into signals each having a different waveform at a time of transmission. The receiving load calculating means and the transmitting load calculating means each calculate a load vector through a transmitting matrix generated. The transmitting beam combining means combines the load vector and the transmitting matrix in terms of multiplication to obtain a virtual transmitting beam. The receiving load calculating means calculates a load vector from a new receiving steering vector at a time of obtaining the virtual transmitting beam, and processing by the receiving load calculating means, the transmitting load calculating means and the transmitting beam combining means is then repeated. When a gain of the load vector reaches a predetermined value, the receiving beam combining means performs receiving beam combining processing to output the result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
