<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication between an imaging device belonging to a local network and granted no fixed global IP address and an external network. <P>SOLUTION: A server configured so as to be capable of communicating with each of an imaging device belonging to a local area network and a terminal device belonging to a network other than the local area network comprises: means for receiving inquiry transmitted periodically by the imaging device inquiring whether there is a connection request to the imaging device or not; means for determining whether the connection request to the imaging device from the terminal device is received or not when receiving the inquiry from the imaging device, and keeping the connection with the imaging device established based on the inquiry on condition that the determination result shows the reception of the connection request; means for receiving imaging data filmed by the imaging device transmitted by the imaging device by utilizing the kept connection; and means for transmitting the received imaging data to the terminal device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
