Described is a device (1) for coupling at least one rotatable component (2) to a component (3), which is fixed with respect to a housing, of a transmission device (4) by means of two shift element halves (5, 6), which can be placed into frictional engagement with one another, of a multiplate brake device (7). A first shift element half (5) which is formed as an inner plate carrier is connected to the at least one rotatable component (2). A second shift element half (6) which is formed as an outer plate carrier can, by means of a band brake (8), be placed in rotationally conjoint operative connection with the component (3) which is fixed with respect to the housing.
