PURPOSE: An absorption type heating and cooling device is provided to generate steams for a short time by applying steam energy to a condensed water surface with placing one or a plurality of ultrasonic oscillators inside. CONSTITUTION: An absorption type heating and cooling device comprises one or a plurality of ultrasonic oscillators, a blower, a radiant heat pipe, and a cooling water circulation pump. The ultrasonic oscillators are operated inside an evaporator(9) according to output signals of a controller when the evaporator is operated. The ultrasonic oscillators apply steam energy to a condensed water surface inside the evaporator. The ultrasonic oscillators increase an adhesion rate to solid sorbents inside first and second heat-exchangers. The blower is installed on a top of an adsorption tower(7). The radiant heat pipe is installed in an outlet of the blower in zigzags. The radiant heat pipe is selectively connected to hot water pipes of the adsorption tower and cooling water pipes linked to the evaporator. The cooling water circulation pump supplies heat-exchanged water based on the output signals of the controller. Cooling or heating of an indoor is performed selectively.
