<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stability evaluation method and a stability evaluation device, capable of maintaining high evaluation accuracy even in application to a tunnel shape other than circular or to complicated drilling. <P>SOLUTION: With condition settings including geological conditions of natural ground and installation conditions of a tunnel, assuming that the natural ground complies with Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion, numerical analysis of natural ground drilling of a tunnel part is performed based on a divided linear strain softening model obtained from linearization of a stress-strain curve defined by axial strain values resulting from a triaxial compression test of natural ground material, so as to calculate a non-linear strain measure of a predetermined drilling section. The stability of the natural ground is evaluated by comparison between the calculated non-linear strain measure and a non-linear strain measure corresponding to a predetermined axial strain of the divided linear strain softening model as an allowance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
