<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grind a rail end surface to be flat and vertical to a longitudinal direction. <P>SOLUTION: A rail end surface grinding device includes a grinder 10, and an attaching tool 30 for attaching the grinder 10 to a rail 1 so as to be relatively moved. The grinder 10 includes an endless grinding flat belt 11 where an outer peripheral surface forms a grinding surface 12, a belt support plate 17 for securing flatness of a part of the grinding surface 12, a guide receiving part 25, and a casing 20. The attaching tool 30 includes a rail holding part 31 for holding the rail 1 so as not to be relatively moved, and a guide bar 47 extending in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail 1 held by the rail holding part 31 so as not to be relatively moved. The guide receiving part 25 is fixed to the casing 20 so that the flat part 13 of the endless grinding flat belt 11 can be reciprocated in the longitudinal direction of the rail 1 while maintaining the vertical state to the longitudinal direction of the rail 1 held by the rail holding part 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
