<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing deposit on a blast furnace tilting trough and a method of removing the deposit, which can be used while receiving molten iron, which can remove the deposit efficiently, and which can further attain an effect of prohibiting deposition of the deposit. <P>SOLUTION: The device 10 for removing deposit on a blast furnace tilting trough removes the deposit deposited on the blast furnace tilting trough 11 which changes a tilting direction using a hot well section 12 as a fulcrum and discharges the molten iron received at the hot well section 12 from discharge sections 13, 14 tilted downward, wherein deposit removing lances 15-17 dissolving the deposit on the blast furnace tilting trough 11 are disposed above the hot well section 12 and the both discharge sections 13, 14 in a manner they can be tilted in all directions so as to direct their tips 37-39 toward a site deposited with the deposit. The method of removing the deposit includes the steps of directing one of the tips 37-39 of the deposit removing lances 15-17 closest to the site deposited with the deposit toward the deposit, and dissolving the deposit by heated gas blowing out of the tip 37-39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
