<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer particles showing specific deformation behavior to compressive load, by controlling the shape of each hollow formed on the particle surface. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer particle has an outer shape on which one hollow satisfying following conditions (a)-(d) is formed, and has a half or larger volume of an original sphere: (a) a peripheral shape of the hollow is a polygon; (b) the ratio (L1/D) of a major axis (L1) of the hollow to a particle diameter (D) is ≥0.3 and <1.0; (c) the ratio (L2/D) of a minor axis (L2) of the hollow to the particle diameter (D) is ≥0.05 and <1.0; and (d) the ratio (L2/L1) of the major axis (L1) to the minor axis (L2) is <1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
