<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the NV performance by restricting the vibration of a front pillar by improving rigidity of a coupling part of the front pillar and a rocker. <P>SOLUTION: A front wall of a front pillar outer reinforcement 22, a front wall of a side member outer panel 24 and a front wall 26A of a hinge reinforcement 26 are connected to one another; and the front wall 26A of the hinge reinforcement 26 and an upper wall 16A of a rocker outer reinforcement 16 structuring the rocker 12 are connected to each other by a reinforcing member 28, so that a front wall of the front pillar 14, an upper surface of the rocker 12 and the reinforcing member 28 structure a truss-like reinforcement part 29. With this structure, coupling rigidity of the front pillar 14 and the rocker 12 against the moment M1 around a vehicle-side surface view can be efficiently secured, and the vibration of the front pillar 14 can be effectively restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
