PURPOSE: A robot having balancing function is provided to prevent a robot from falling down on the ground by installing a balancing member. CONSTITUTION: A robot having balancing function(100) comprises a main body(110), a moving unit, a sensor, balancing members(140), and a bouncing member. The sensor measures gradient of the main body. If the ingredient of the main body excesses posture control limit angle, the balancing members are projected from the main body to support the main body against the ground. The bouncing member is installed in one end of the balancing members where the ground is contacted. The bouncing member includes an elastic member and a linear driving unit. The linear driving unit is installed inside the balancing members and linearly reciprocates the elastic member in a parallel with the balancing members.
