<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-temperature optimum protease retaining high activity under a low-temperature condition, a gene encoding the same, and a transformant producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The low-temperature optimum protease is made of an amino acid sequence of a sequence number 1, or the amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are deleted, replaced and/or added. The gene encodes the low-temperature optimum protease made of the following DNAs (a), (b) or (c): (a) DNA made of a base sequence of a sequence number 2; (b) DNA made of a base sequence in which one or several amino acid bases in the base sequence of the sequence number 2 are deleted, replaced and/or added; or (c) DNA hybridized with the DNA (a) under a stringent condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
