<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a vehicle hood support rod capable of corresponding to hood support rods of different diameters. <P>SOLUTION: A clamp part 12 has a maximum inside diameter d' which is substantially the same size as the diameter d of a hood support rod 5 having a small diameter in a perpendicular line direction orthogonal to a center line C passing through a center P of the clamp part 12 and extending in a rod insertion direction F. An internal circumference surface of the clamp part 12 is formed by a circular arc a having two center points P1 and P2 set on the perpendicular line to be line symmetrical with respect to the center line C, passing through a distal end of the maximum inside diameter d' and having a radius r substantially the same size as the radius of a hood support rod 5' having a large diameter. A circumferential direction one end 13d of a base part 13 formed along an external circumference surface of the clamp part 12 is located in the vicinity of an opening edge on one end side of a rod insertion port 12a. The other end 13e is located between an intersection e of a straight line C1 parallel to the center line C passing through a center point P1 on one end side of the rod insertion port 12a and the clamp part 12, and an intersection f of the perpendicular line and the clamp part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
