<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of improving strength of the whole joint part of both cloth parts. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device is provided with: an airbag 30 made by joining a pair of cloth parts 34 formed into a polygonal shape in a bag shape by sewing part 43 as a joint part; and an inflator 21 arranged in a place between both cloth parts 34 and in a place approaching the rear longitudinal edge part 35 of both cloth parts and jetting an inflation gas according to an impact on the vehicle. In both the cloth parts 34, the sewing part 43 is provided with a plurality of straight line-like sewing parts 44-46 extending along edge parts 36-38 different from the rear longitudinal edge part 35 and curved sewing parts 47, 48 provided between the adjacent straight line-like sewing parts 44-46. At least a normal line NL orthogonal to a tangent line TL in one of curved sewing parts 47, 48 is orthogonal to one of warp 51 and weft 52 in each cloth part 34.
