<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for an IPM motor capable of improving motor torque performance by effectively preventing a leakage flux and reducing the manufacturing cost by improving material yield, and an IPM motor having the rotor for the IPM motor. <P>SOLUTION: In a rotor 100 for an IPM motor, in a rotor core 10 made up of a columnar bulk body 1 having magnetism, a plurality of concave grooves 1a are arranged on the side surface in a circumferential direction at intervals, and permanent magnets 5, 5 are provided in each concave groove 1a, a steel plate lamination body 3 formed by laminating magnetic steel sheets 3' holds the permanent magnet 5 with the bulk body 1 to be engaged with the bulk body 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
