STEERING CONTROL DEVICE, STEERING CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR STEERING STANDING RIDING TYPE MOVABLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device that can accurately indicate steering in the right-to-left direction while securing a fixed degree of flexibility of a riding posture of a driver.

SOLUTION: There is provided a steering control device for a standing riding type movable body which performs steering in the right-to-left direction according to turning of both shoulders of the driver. A difference detection part 903 calculates a difference value of a distance of both shoulders (corresponding to the turning of both shoulders) based on a distance between both shoulders and a backrest of the driver which is measured by the difference detection part 903. A steering control amount calculation part 904 calculates the steering control amount in the right-to-left direction based on the difference value. A steering control output part 905 outputs a signal for controlling a direction of front wheels based on the steering control amount.
