A clamp is disclosed for mounting a secondary elongate member (36, 38) (which may for example be an umbilical or relatively small pips) upon, and in parallel relationship with, a primary elongate member ( 16) (which may for example be a riser of the type used in hydrocarbon extraction). The clamp comprises a clamp body (12,1 12) having a saddle (18, 118) for seating upon the primary elongate member and a channel-forming structure (26, 182) upstanding from the saddle and defining a channel for receiving and mounting the secondary elongate member. The saddle is adapted to bend to enable it to seat upon primary elongate members having a range of lateral dimensions. |
