<p>Provided is a method for manufacturing solar cells that can effectively prevent a reduction in photoelectric conversion performance and occurrences of leaks due to the adherence of foreign matter, without reducing production efficiency. The method manufactures solar cells having a structure that is laminated in the order of a first electrode, photoelectric conversion layer, and second electrode on one surface of a substrate, where the photoelectric conversion layer is constituted as a multi-junction photoelectric conversion layer in which the photoelectric conversion layer has a lamination of a plurality of photoelectric conversion units, and the photoelectric conversion units have a plurality of layers. The method for manufacturing solar cells includes at least one step for washing the surface of a layer formed in a process after the formation of the thickest layer of a photoelectric conversion unit and prior to the formation of the thickest layer for any of the photoelectric conversion units that are further laminated.</p> |
